NZ CH DON CAMILLO DELL' ARCO DI ROSA (imp Switzerland)
In 2016, Zippo to move to Canterbury to live with us. He came to New Zealand from Switzerland, 5 years before with Astrid & Robin Haab and had been a much loved pet and family member during that time. Bringing his superb temperament with him, he has cruised into our hearts and will play an integral part in further improving our Lagotto Romagnolo lines. He has had all relevant genetic testing required for the breed, plus some! He has International B Grade Hips, and 0:0 Elbows. He is CLEAR for Juvenile Epilepsy, Hyperuricosuria, Improper Coat, LSD, and Patella Luxation. He has also had a DNA Profile completed and has an annual Ophthalmic examination. His show career has been limited due to my ill-health, but he gained his NZ Ch status in March 2018. Our proudest moment so far has been him being awarded Best of Breed at the NZ National Dog Show in October 2016 by FCI Judge Mr Claudio De Giuliano (Italy). Zippo has now sired 4 litters for the Comacchio Kennel, and I am very pleased with the quality of these puppies.
Zippo's 2nd litter to Aust. Ch Amicileale Arcobaleno Cosma (imp Aust). 5 pups and everyone a different colour. I have retained the Brown & White for my breeding program.
